To rent a canoe or kayak from Kanotcentralen in Stockamöllan / Remdoc AB, the following requirements must be met:

• You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by/in possession of a guardian’s consent.

• You must be able to swim.

• You must wear a life jacket.

• Any damages or lost equipment must be reported to and compensated for by Kanotcentralen in Stockamöllan (at cost price). Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

• The renter is responsible for returning the rented equipment on time and to the correct location. Kanotcentralen in Stockamöllan reserves the right to charge extra for locating and retrieving equipment not returned to the correct place.

• You acknowledge that all rental activities are undertaken at your own risk. It is your responsibility to adhere to applicable traffic/maritime regulations. Kanotcentralen in Stockamöllan assumes no liability for personal or clothing damage that may occur during the rental period.

• Be prepared to show identification for any type of rental. It is sufficient for one person in the group over 18 years old to provide identification; this person will then be responsible for all rented equipment.

• By accepting these terms and conditions, a binding agreement is established. Upon receiving a booking, a booking confirmation will automatically be sent via email with information about the rental period.

• In accordance with data protection laws, you must consent to us storing your information. You have the right to have your information deleted.

• We adhere to the recommendations of the General Complaints Board in the event of any disputes.

• You consent to us sending you email confirmations and follow-up emails. We will not send newsletters unless requested.

Booking rules:
• You can reschedule or cancel your booking entirely or partially at no cost up to 12:00 seven days prior to your scheduled start time. If you have pre-paid for your trip, you will receive a 100% refund upon cancellation.
If you have purchased rescheduling insurance, you can also reschedule your trip up to 4 hours before the trip starts.

• Kanotcentralen Stockamöllan reserves the right to cancel bookings in the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as stolen or damaged canoes. In such cases, the entire amount paid will be refunded. The renter is not entitled to compensation.

Adjust your trip according to your own abilities. If it’s your first time paddling, stay close to the shore at all times. If you capsize, swim to shore and empty the canoe/kayak before continuing paddling.
